Getting your closet organized
Closet organization is usually one of the most overlooked or avoided projects in the home, usually avoided, but the thought of being able to find what you're looking for, when you need it, without having to sift through mountains of stuff may make the project well worth your efforts.
Find Your design preference
The first thing you'll need to know is what your design preferences are. You'll need to make some simple choices. For example, would you rather hang or fold your pants, will you hang or fold your tee shirts. These are a couple of items that could go either way. Most prefer to fold their sweaters, but people should take into consideration if they like to have clothes hung, folded, in closed containers or out on open shelves.
Time to make room
After you've decided on what your preferences are, it's time to empty your closet of everything that doesn't fit or is just not worn. Sounds painful, but donating old or out-of-date clothes can be a stress release and give you a reason to go shopping.
Begin the build
Now you're ready to start, and at Homeshow Daily we have closet organization experts available to help you begin the task at hand.
