Flickering Lights

Question:
Our carport light switch is inside our kitchen. When you turn on the light, it flickers outside the whole time it is on. Now the utility building light, which is under the carport but on a different switch is doing the same thing. Is it the wiring, or a bad switchs? We are concerned with a fire hazard.

Answer:
Since the two lights are on different switches, the problem must be in the circuit.
These two lights must be on the same circuit. It could be a loose connection in the breaker panel or a loose connection in a junction box. If there is a loose connection in the circuit, this could be a fire hazard, in which you should consult an electrician right away.
